Re: Win7. Catalogues by means of gestures do not open - 14 years agoPlease explain!by MKairys - StrokeIt Bugs Re: show how to draw built-in gestures - 14 years agoThere is also a one-page gesture reference in HTML and PDF, as well as documentation on the preconfigured applications and other useful information, here: http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/docs/by MKairys - Improvement Requests Re: something better than SHORTPOPUP?? - 14 years agoPStart http://www.pegtop.net/start/by MKairys - General Re: How can you start minimised from the command line, please? - 14 years agoBy "it" you mean the Strokeit editor? This window comes up if you execute strokeit.exe when it is already running. Otherwise the first execution of strokeit.exe should not cause any window to appear.by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 "enhanced" - 14 years agoWith latest I get LBUTTON again, and I also get MBUTTON, but I don't get any WHEEL gestures nor do I get 4/5BUTTON gestures. Perhaps Intellipoint isn't letting them through? (Microsoft wireless mouse)by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 personal - 14 years agoCorrection to the previous: MultiMon Next Monitor is working. Don't know why it wasn't, but it is.by MKairys - General Re: forwrd and back mouse buttons? - 14 years agoCan't do that in any case. One button must be the gesture initiator.by MKairys - General Re: forwrd and back mouse buttons? - 14 years agoDo you mean, use the 4th or 5th button to initiate gestures, or as the gesture itself?by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 personal - 14 years ago> have you just upgraded from Vista and find that these are now issues with Win7? Yes, except that the wheel gestures never worked for me on Vista either.by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 personal - 14 years ago> a non-destructive method of resetting it to the default settings... Neat. I was already in portable mode but it was an easy switch. However I am still having problems. I downloaded and installed again, created empty ini file and rebooted. Working normally except for LB, MB, W gestures. And I also see the MultiMon plugin doesn't seem to be working; my beloved Next Monitor gesture is dby MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 personal - 14 years agoI have just done a clean Win 7 x86 install on my desktop system. With StrokeIt latest I do NOT see any mouse-related gestures executing (LBUTTON, RBUTTON, WHEEL, etc). I can see the invisible window StrokeIt puts up to capture gestures (in another app, Enable Virtual Desktop, that has a "mini-window' view of the desktops) and I can see that the mouse-related gestures don't even mqakby MKairys - General Re: Next Task, Previous Task - 14 years ago> ... No, he should not. It is missing on purpose... Ah, sorry, I didn't understand. > You have to set them to globals... Yes, you're right of course.by MKairys - General Does WHEEL_DOWN/UP actually work now? - 14 years agoI've always wanted to use one of the task-switch-via-mouse-wheel gestures I've read about but I've never gotten StrokeIt to see any movement of the mouse wheel as a gesture, and I still can't. I can see (in another program) the invisible window StrokeIt pops up to catch gestures, and rotating the wheel doesn't invoke that - only moving the mouse does. (I don't remember XP :) It doesn't do anything on my VIsta system... > Alt Tab = keys, keys I think you should add or you may have problems... > Hmm. That looks great but how exactly am I to set this rules? For example: Application = Windows desktop. Create this if you don't already have it; I use CLASS:Progby MKairys - General Re: Command to eject / insert DVD drive tray? - 14 years agoAre you willing to use an external program? There are several small programs like Wizmo and Nircmd that will do this; you could just call them from an action. I suspect you could also write a Lua script that calls the Windows API mciSendCommand, but I don't know how to do this myself.by MKairys - General Re: Help Please - 14 years agoMore info please. StrokeIt version? What might have changed on your system in the last few months? Anything look odd when you run the StrokeIt editor?by MKairys - General Re: Why isn't StrokeIt more popular? - 14 years agoQuality vs. quantity? StrokeIt users may not be that numerous but I think it's safe to say we're more powerfully attached to this particular application than almost any other...by MKairys - General Re: Make StrokeIt work properly with Maxthon 2.5? 2 classes in 1 program... - 14 years agoHave you tried using Window Title or File Name for your application identifier?by MKairys - General Re: windows explorer - 14 years agohttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/130510by MKairys - General Re: online translation tool - 14 years agoDo you mean the "StrokeIt Translation System" at http://www.tcbmi.com/cgi-bin/translate.pl ? Then when it's running I can set the clock forward again and all seems well. Hope it doesn't crash a lot though :)by MKairys - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Right + Left mouse button, Left + Right mouse button - 14 years agoYou'd have to talk to Google about that.by MKairys - General Re: Right + Left mouse button, Left + Right mouse button - 14 years agoNo, because you have to decide which button is triggering the gesture and which button is the gesture. So if you are triggering with the right button then left button down can be a gesture. You could use the middle button for the other gesture if you wish...by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 personal - 14 years ago> the FIND or better the F dont work Say more please. The gesture "F" doesn't execute a specified command for you?by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 "enhanced" - 14 years agoWell, it fixed my beeping problem, whatever that was. Big relief!by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 "enhanced" - 14 years agoI just upgraded my other computer (a Dell notebook) to the latest version and the damn dinging started over there. I really think it might be StrokeIt somehow!by MKairys - General Re: Help beta test .9.7 "enhanced" - 14 years agoThis is serious. I've had to disable the system "default beep" sound. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Jeff, could I download an earlier release (and its key) and see if I can really blame StrokeIt or not?by MKairys - General |
