Right + Left mouse button, Left + Right mouse button

Is it possible to setup Google chrome to react to right mouse down + left mouse down for navigation back and left mouse down + right mouse down for forward?

No, because you have to decide which button is triggering the gesture and which button is the gesture. So if you are triggering with the right button then left button down can be a gesture.

You could use the middle button for the other gesture if you wish...

Well, this is how navigation is done in both Firefox and Opera. Getting this as a feature for Google Chrome would be neat ;)

You'd have to talk to Google about that.
