Re: Where did Jeff go? Would he be back here again? - 7 years agoI think if we really need him, he will return ;) ;)by MKairys - General Re: how are "ButtonUp" events used? - 8 years agoThere are several button events Windows will send, depending exactly what your fingers do. You should always get button-down followed by button-up, and you might get button-click or even button-doubleclick depending on the delay, etc. In Strokeit you could conceivably attach different actions to button-down and button-up but I think that would prove unreliable. I generally use button-up only.by MKairys - General Re: AAAARGH!!! External Monitor/laptop alignment isues! - 8 years agoCurious. I have two external monitors at 1600x1200 and a tablet at 2160x1440 and I have no issues... What are your resolutions and how is your extended desktop set up? Are you using "recommended" resolutions?by MKairys - General Re: For Windows 8/8.1 users, I recommend to use StrokePlus. - 8 years agoStan speaks my mind. I continue to use and depend on StrokeIt on my Surface Pro tablet with Windows 10, stylus and all. I thought I'd tried compatibility but maybe not XP ;) Thanks for the VBS tip too. I have another program in my startup that just won't start up by itself, couldn't figure out why. I think it's run as admin, common factor. Anyway VBS works for both ;)by MKairys - StrokeIt Bugs Taskbar icon fix fails with Windows 10 - 8 years agoMinimizing it in the ways suggested no longer make it go away.by MKairys - StrokeIt Bugs Re: error with excle 2010 - 9 years agoI have no problem. Can you say more about what is happening on your system?by MKairys - General Re: Windows 8 stuck taskbar button - 9 years agoJust to repeat once more: (1) StrokeIt works fine on Windows 8.1 OOTB. (2) You can make the taskbar icon go away by assigning a gesture to "minimize" and performing that gesture on the taskbar icon itself. This only needs to be done after the program has been restarted.by MKairys - StrokeIt Bugs Re: For Windows 8/8.1 users, I recommend to use StrokePlus. - 9 years agoHave a gesture assigned to "minimize" in global actions. For me it is "/". Go to the taskbar and perform this gesture on the StrokeIt icon there. P.S. I want to agree entirely with Boo. StrokeIt is almost flawless, one of the most solid apps I have ever had the pleasure to use. I'm on Windows 8.1 on a Surface 3 tablet and I use StrokeIt with the stylus and everything.by MKairys - General Re: Virtual windows keyboard - 9 years agoOf course.
