The only issue I've had on Windows 8 is the persistent taskbar icon, but you can get rid of that easily by performing the minimize gesture on the icon itself,by gorkyness - General Re: Detecting links in web browsers? - 14 years agoI had the same problem with my Logitech mouse, so I went into Logitech's mouse settings and redefined side-scrolling as middle button. I never scroll horizontally anyway and it's nice to just tap the wheel to the side to open tabs.by gorkyness - General Re: Suggest preconfigured applications for upcoming release - 14 years ago@gemisigo: Yeah the way gMote does it would be better. I like to hide technical details like application identifiers unless you need to troubleshoot. I think the main argument for preconfigured apps is just so people have a list of sample actions available to avoid having to figure out and set up the hotkeys for that app. But rather than making them the default settings for everyone, perhaps ifby gorkyness - General Re: Execute two commands with one gesture - 14 years agoDoes the URL not work for you? Try searching ebay for "iphone" yourself and use whatever URL it takes you to.by gorkyness - General Re: Execute two commands with one gesture - 14 years agoYou have to add a delay to execute two commands in a particular sequence, otherwise they execute simultaneously. @Leo: Woah, dude... For this purpose you should just use the Internet - Open Website command using "http:// shop.ebay.com/?_nkw=iphone" as the website (without the space or quotes). Trying to draw a gesture just activates the right-click menu -- the StrokeIt icon does not even change blue. I am on Windows 7. I think the basic gestures (back, forward, close window, minimize, maximize) are the main selling point for StrokeIt.
