Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoI see. I still don't know why does it not work as it should. What it your operating system and AHK version?by gemisigo - General Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoEr... I'm very sorry, but it seems that I didn't understand you. Of course it is disabled when the left button is pressed and held. ~LButton & RButton:: means that its action will be triggered when the left mouse button is held down and the right mouse button is clicked. In other words it will be triggered when both mouse buttons are pressed at the same time with the left one beinby gemisigo - General Re: Adjust diagonal angle parameters? - 12 years agoNo, there aren't any settings for tolerance. But you can try teach mode to make StrokeIt learn the difference between Down and the false positive for the diagonal . Recognition should be more precise after a few "lessons".by gemisigo - Improvement Requests Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoWeird, indeed. I tried the script and it works as expected (no double click needed and the context menu shown upon right click). Besides, there is nothing in the script that would disable right click. Are there any other scripts runnig simultaneously? Or 3rd part mouse gesture/driver running in the background (like StrokeIt, SetPoint, JustGestures, etc.) that could interfere?by gemisigo - General Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoWhat do you mean by "double-click left then single click right"? The scripts only differ in the method they achieve their goal but both should work by clicking and holding down left mouse button and then clicking the right mouse button. This should trigger the action in AHK. After it is done the order of releasing mouse buttons is irrelevant.by gemisigo - General Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoOr use a more "elegant" approach :P This on below should close the active window (WinTitle set to A and other 3 params omitted). Basically, it sends a close message to a window but is more "user readable" and it has one advantage to using Post. It can operate on a groups windows as well. Just in case you need to close them all. It requires the definition of the group, of courseby gemisigo - General Re: Win7 x64, the wheel up/down gesture doesn't work properly on some 32 bit programs... - 12 years agoI see. Yes, those are the defaults. The third line makes Send default to SendInput which does not obey to SetKeyDelay settings (meaning there is no delay between keystrokes). This results in awkward behavior in some cases as you can see. But if you say by using SendEvent the script is working properly I recommend leave it that way. Thanks for the feedback, Ben.by gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Is it possible to execute action by pressing left then right mouse button? - 12 years agoHi Serge! Not yet and I don't know if it'll ever be. But you can achieve the same effect using AutoHotkey. If you describe your goal we can help you create the script.by gemisigo - General Re: Win7 x64, the wheel up/down gesture doesn't work properly on some 32 bit programs... - 12 years agoNice ;) Though it's kinda funny since Send is synonymous to SendEvent. SendEvent applies a little delay after each keystroke. Which version of AHK is installed? The screenshots of XMBC look good. And I guess it works with non-Logitech mice which is not true for SetPoint. I'll recommend it as a replacement. Thanks!by gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Win7 x64, the wheel up/down gesture doesn't work properly on some 32 bit programs... - 12 years agoSorry for misguiding then. It seemed logical though I must admit I never tried. I dusted my good ol' StrokeIt to check it and proved that the last one executed wins. But there are other combinations. You could just as easily use LButton/MButton/XButton1/XButton2 in combination (or on their own) with Wheel Up/Down/Left/Right. AHK is a bit more sophisticated when it comes to identifying windby gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Win7 x64, the wheel up/down gesture doesn't work properly on some 32 bit programs... - 12 years agoI checked the code Joe posted and I don't see the reason to achieve your goal in such a complicated way (that is, throwing the control back and forth between SI and AHK). Why not simply using AHK code to do the job where SI fails? ~RButton & WheelUp::Send, {F2} ~RButton & WheelDown::Send, {F3} Add necessary window class/title filter.by gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Win7 x64, the wheel up/down gesture doesn't work properly on some 32 bit programs... - 12 years agoYou could try to identify Maxthon2 using AU3_Spy.exe that is shipped with AHK or Winspector. Regarding what can or cannot be done, SetPoint is a piece of sh#t compared to AHK. When I thought I've become skilled in AHK, my first task was to clone my SetPoint settings in AHK, add what I'd like to have but was impossible to achieve in SetPoint, then remove that useless garbage completelyby gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: How to open current webpage in Fx with IE9 - 12 years agoYou're welcome ;) The AHK method has the "side-effect" of not ruining the clipboard in case you want to preserve its content. By the way, thanks for the feedback on FF hotkey.by gemisigo - General Re: How to open current webpage in Fx with IE9 - 12 years agoWhile the AHK solution is more preferable and works (at least it should work) in every case and in any app, there are more straightforward StrokeIt-only methods. You have to create an action that is triggered in FF. Add a command Key - Send Keystrokes. It should contain this: ac Replace with key that makes address bar active. CTRL + ac makes it all to be selected (just to be sure) and puts itby gemisigo - General Re: Abandoning StrokeIt - 12 years agoHi, Leo! It's highly unlikely that I'll return to StrokeIt, but I'm not turning my back on it either. I'll keep watching the forum. I just won't be as active as I was in the past. Regarding the video, I could if I knew how to do it. It's funny how I did not need to do such things all these years. There is a quick tutorial at http://www.screenr.com/THMs. It showby gemisigo - General Re: Abandoning StrokeIt - 12 years agoNeither, the transition was fairly smooth :) RM stands for Radial Menu. It is an application written by a Croatian guy and is pure AHK. I cannot describe it precisely but it is a tool like SI, intended to assist in everyday work. Its main function is to show menu(s). The menu items can be submenus, files, folders, applications, or commands written in AHK script language. They are radially arranby gemisigo - General Abandoning StrokeIt - 12 years agoI never thought it would come to this, but after many years of being addicted to StrokeIt we finally parted. The last few weeks I've been studying other options and managed to completely replace SI with AHK and RM. Cerberus is the one to be blamed :P I'll keep watching this forum and lend help if asked, though my knowledge might not be up-to-date anymore. Thanks for everything.by gemisigo - General Re: Smarter application rules - 12 years agoJeff should come back soon, we have a couple of good ideas about improving SI :) With your need for complex application identification your only option is to combine SI with AutoHotkey. You could set up SI to identify the application at first level (eg. firefox.exe or whatever) and delegate the actions to a AHK script that is able to do further filtering based on window class/title/group and trby gemisigo - Improvement Requests Re: exclude program from global action - 12 years agoSorry, I might have misunderstood. I thought you added Opera to Global Actions (which is actually not an application), which should not have any apps added, since these are globals and should work in every application (except those disabled). Let me clarify a few things. StrokeIt gestures and actions are stored in a three level tree. The topmost level is the Application level. But Jeff tends to disappear for months and everyone is eagerly awaiting his return.by gemisigo - General Re: More than one instance - 12 years agoWell, if you have to ask you probably should not do it anyway. It involves hacking using windows api functions (or AHK). I'm not sure the class can be changed (except using the source that we do not have) but changing the title does not help. It might not use window class/title for identifying a running instance. Renaming the exe is also futile. I really don't know how to do it, sorry.by gemisigo - General Re: More than one instance - 12 years agoNone I know of. You could try by starting one and then trying to change its window class/title to be able to start another one. Not sure if that works.by gemisigo - General Re: More than one instance - 12 years agoI doubt. It would install two instances of the same mousehook that would collide with each other. I guess.by gemisigo - General Re: How to put some time delay on Keystrokes? - 12 years agoBreak your Send Keystrokes command into two (or more as required) Send Keystrokes commands and insert a Utilities - Delay(s) between them.by gemisigo - General Re: global action not working on some windows ... - 12 years agopetiot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi all, everything is in the title: on some > windows the global action i have defined to close > a windows (hotkeys ALT + F4) does not work .... > It seems that this affects all the administrative > tools (e.g. services.msc, taskmanager, regedit). > > Note that when I use ALT + F4von those windowby gemisigo - General Re: global action not working on some windows ... - 12 years agoSure. Those windows are elevated, that is, SI won't be able to work on them unless it is started elevated as well. Run SI as admin if you want to use it in admin/elevated apps or other apps started as admin. (Jeff, this anti-spam software should be disabled. It does not stop spammers to post but occasionally prevents other (non-spam) posts).by gemisigo - General Re: exclude program from global action - 12 years agoYou were not doing it properly and just disabled global actions completely You have to remove Opera from the global action identifiers and re-enable global action gestures. After that you should create a new application called "Disabled Apps" (or whatever you like), tick the "Disable gestures in this application" checkbox (or whatever it is called in German) and add Opera anby gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Strokeit can not setup "win" as hotkey? - 12 years agoYes, SI is unable to store that hotkey using the GUI because it gets executed before it could be caught. As a workaround I suggest you to shutdown SI, edit the cfg file and then restart.by gemisigo - General Re: Line draws incredibly slowly - 12 years agoYour version of StrokeIt? Older versions (9.5 if I recall correctly) did this on Vista and Win7 but 9.7 should work properly.by gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs |
