Embedding StrokeIt in my application
January 05, 2010 10:14AM
Hi,

Sorry if this is in the docs somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm interested in embedding the recognition engine in my .NET application, because I want to be able to deploy the app and not worry about installing StrokeIt as a standalone application on people's machines. So I'm trying to figure out how this could be done, but not finding much. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Josh

Hi, Josh,

Running StrokeIt as a standalone application, and developing a plugin is the easiest way to integrate it with your product. You may want to start there.

However, if that's not appropriate for your situation, you can license the recognition engine for your own product. Use the Contact Form to get more information about licensing the engine.

Okay, let me study the possibilities and decide what to do next. Thanks.
