Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoThe extra mouse buttons are now available in the dropdown, alas, they do not work. The logitech driver might interfere somehow. I don't mind, I would not be able to use them anyway. Using it with RMB is way too deeply hardwired into my brain to change d:) As for the plugins the SDK seems interesting though I would not say it is very simple for novices. So far I think I'll end up withby gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoI found the reference to gesture.hwnd() the mouse buttons do not show in the dropdown. Why is that? Next question :) In the lua scripts there are references to plugins and function calls like : "plugin.call("Utilities", "delay", "1")" I suppose these call exported functions of the dlls in the plugins directory. Is there a way to call exported functionby gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoWhat do you mean by fancy mouse? I do not see any other options to draw gestures besides left/middle/right buttons. Cannot see gesture.hwnd() in examples either. By the way, the page shows StrokeIt Enhanced BETA 07.14.2009. It does not seem to be built today. There must be something broken... Sadly, the desktop leftdoubleclick still does not work... EDIT: and I forgot this one. From tiby gemisigo - General Re: Activate window/control under mouse - 14 years agoThe easiest way to activate a window under the mouse cursor is a simple left click. So if you want to use rightclick+leftclick to close the tab, before issuing the close command you should send a left click command first.by gemisigo - General Re: Volume.lua 0.1a for StrokeIt Enhanced - Increase/Decrease system volume - 14 years agoIt is a Vista Business 64bit. That may be the problem, but I don't know why there are not any error messages since it seems it works normally. It calls all the functions and returns without crashing. The only thing it does not is to alter volume settings :D Thanks for the link, Scott. So far it looks like I will end up in writing a dll after all :( Something that I wanted to avoid. Well, wby gemisigo - Plugin Development Re: Volume.lua 0.1a for StrokeIt Enhanced - Increase/Decrease system volume - 14 years agoStrange, but somehow it fails to work for me. It shows the percentage in upper right corner it even changes when I wheel up or down but the volume does not change at all. Reason unknown. Any ideas? By the way, is there an (alien or any other) function that returns the contents of the clipboard into a string? The only reference I found on different forums mentioned that he had to build a dll forby gemisigo - Plugin Development Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years ago@jeff: it's a file manager called Directory Opus. Doubleclick on desktop is set up to open the default lister. With StrokeIt disabled or shut down it works. With enabled StrokeIt it does not. Gives no error messages it just simply does not do anything. Doubleclicking on icons does what it should, of course. By the way, I tested program execution and it works for me.by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoBesides still interfering with desktop doubleclicks :), every once in a while it freezes Shift/Ctrl keys and nothing but disabling StrokeIt will return keyboard to normal. And the same problem here, it crashes when starting programs with gestures. http://sites.google.com/site/gemisigo/Home/tcb.zip?attredirects=0by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoThe fantom has vanished, the stuffed alien works perfectly. And it still interferes with left doubleclick on the desktop :)by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoThanks, this makes things clearer. Or quite the contrary :D Okay, so the plugin is loaded (it works, so it should be) and the extraneous entry in the list will disappear sometime in the future, right?by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoRegarding the lua affair the situation is exactly the same as Googer's. The entry is still in plugins list and there is not any other lua dlls besides lua5.1.dll.by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoYes, it was the plugins list. The new build solved that. Now there is only one plugin, named lua5. And it fails to load :) In spite of that binding gestures to lua scripts works. So what is this lua5 plugin supposed to be? Is there a non-script lua function that can be used when this plugin is loaded?by gemisigo - General Re: Help beta test "enhanced" version - 14 years agoWhat is the difference between lua5 and lua5.1 plugins? StrokeIt seem to fail loading lua5 but succeeds at loading lua5.1. I read there is something I can download from MS's site that should make it work but I would like to know if it is worth installingby gemisigo - General Re: Suggest preconfigured applications for upcoming release - 14 years agogorkyness Wrote: > you add an application that StrokeIt recognizes > there could be a pop-up that asks "Would you like > to import a few suggested actions for this > application?" An excellent idea :) Many people would favor that.by gemisigo - General Re: Suggest preconfigured applications for upcoming release - 14 years agogorkyness Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How about none? ;) I definitely agree. Most of the users will switch to their own gestures by time anyway. I do not use IntelliPoint, still the wheel is a bit awkward. I set some globals like volume to wheel and the wheel behaves funny. In some application it works as it should, while in others it does not and again in some others the wheel down is normal but wheel up does not do anything. There is an On Screen Display at the start of each action to see if it's Windows Post Message the culpby gemisigo - General Re: disabling strokeit in World of Warcraft - 15 years agoHow do you identify the WoW application? By Class, by Title or by Name? If by name, the file name of the active application may not be the some that starts WoW. Try finding the file name using a task manager.by gemisigo - StrokeIt Bugs |
