Suggestion - Mobile StrokeIt - 11 years agoIf you may make StrokeIt available for mobile platforms, you can make a lot of money by selling it on Google Play. It may detect two fingers instead of right click, and the rest will be the same. It would be great, especially considering the lack of a usable keyboard or mouse on these devices, and hence even greater need for being able to do things with simple gestures.by GT-Force - Improvement Requests Re: online translation tool - 14 years agoIt is still not working. Are there any plans to make it work again? Thanks.by GT-Force - General Donation(s) - 14 years agoHi Jeff, Is your Amazon Wish-list with amazon3456 up to date?by GT-Force - General Welcome back Jeff! It's good to see you, and StrokeIt being developed/updated, again. - 14 years agoGreat news! Since StrokeIt seemed dead, I was looking for alternatives, and found this High Sign program, which was pretty good, but its developers gave up on it way too fast. When I posted on their project site, someone replied saying that StrokeIt is doing fine these days, I could not believe, and immediately came here to check. I am sooo happy to get my one of favorite software back! Goodby GT-Force - General Re: Open link in new tab/new window in Firefox - 15 years agoYou can do this yourself. Just program a gesture to do Ctrl+T and another one Ctrl+N in the browser. I've been using this for a while, works great.by GT-Force - Improvement Requests Re: StrokeIt work on Windows Vista? - 15 years ago"optimize for best performance" means "crappiest visuals"!by GT-Force - General Where is Jeff? - 16 years agoLet's assume that something hit his head in an accident, and he doesn't remember anything about StrokeIt, and all the people using it, well, in fact, dependent on it, and he has no clue all these people are asking for a Vista-compatible version, or the source code, to convert it to an OpenSource project. Maybe, if we gently remind him about StrokeIt, he may remember, and pick it up frby GT-Force - Improvement Requests Free upgrades? - 16 years ago"An individual license will allow you to freely use StrokeIt and entitle you to free upgrades for two years." Free upgrades for two years? Now, that's funny,... not! :)by GT-Force - General "Opening up" StrokeIt - 16 years agoSince this project is "dead", how about "reviving" it by reverse-engineering it (de-assembly?), and making it open-source? Any gurus here that can do this? Or would that be too much trouble, and writing it from scratch may be easier? Any coders? Thanks.by GT-Force - Improvement Requests Re: Windows Vista - 16 years agoStrokeit is a great software, and I've been using it non-stop since I discovered it a while ago. When I was upgrading to Vista, I was very worried that Strokeit might not have worked in Vista. Luckily, it works, but I'm having a small problem with it (as everyone else): The "blue line" doesn't really work in Vista, so I've been using it without the visual feedback.by GT-Force - Improvement Requests |
