how to enter hotkey that windows is using

I want to enter hotkeys like "ALT + TAB" and "ALT + F4" in the box "Hotkey:", but that combinations is already used bij Windows, which make StrokeIt window close when pressing "ALT + F4" or switching windows in case of "ALT + TAB".

I can choose for Send Keystrokes instead and enter "[ALT_DOWN][TAB_DOWN][TAB_UP][ALT_UP]" for "ALT + TAB".

But I still wonder how to make it work with the first method?

You could do it by exporting your StrokeIt actions (there is an option to do that), then editing the export file in a text editor such as Notepad, and importing the file again.
