Exclude Gestures
January 29, 2010 06:19AM
Hi!

I use the Firefox addon "Grab 'n Drag" to scroll via fingertips on my Laptop Touchpad.
Stroke It is on my default left mouse button (to executeing fast workflow) but you can imagine that cause
problem with this kind of addon, because.. Stroke It activates every time and makes
scrolling impossible.

Thats my question: Is it possible to "exclude" Gestures like "Up" and "Down"
for Global or Firefox to get the addon again working?

Thanks for "any" help or ideas.
Regards

It is not, but as an alternative you could use the key that temporarily disables StrokeIt when using the touchpad.

Hm, I tried this once. I combined "Up" with Temp deactivated but if I scrolled one time
I have to deactivate it again and so etc,
So scrolling was pretty stucking and useless.

I'm afraid you've misunderstand. I wasn't talking about the "Temporarily disable" command. It only disables StrokeIt for the next gesture. You should use the keyboard key that, when pressed, keeps StrokeIt disabled until released. It's set to CTRL by default and can be changed in the preferences ("Ignore gestures by holding").
