Open cmd.exe in the current windows explorer dir

Posted by Brad
As I often browse thru explorer to get to the files/folders I want, it would be great to be able to extract the current path from explorer and open the command shell starting in that location.

Can the path be extracted like this and placed into a variable that StrokeIt will accept in the starting dir field?

there's an easier solution via freeware via an "open command-line/-prompt from here" RMB context menu entry.

Unfortunately I do NOT recall the exact name or location of such a utility but I'm sure you can successfully google it.
