Disabling Gestures

Is there a way to disable individual gestures in certain programs. I want to do this as Opera already has some mouse gestures included, but i dont want all the global gestures to be activated and overide the ones built into opera; only some.

No, but try what i hav done. assign keyboard shortcuts instead of gestures and use strokeit to send keyboard hotkeys.

Hello Bert,

you can try 'shading' the individual unwanted gesture :
1] copy the unwanted gesture to the Opera actions branch in StrokeIt
2] disable or delete all the commands in the unwanted gesture in the Opera branch

in this way when you activate an unwanted gesture in Opera - StrokeIt will do nothing. But i don't know if it will still block the internal gestures hook in Opera.

If you shade the gesture, StrokeIt still overrides and blocks opera from receiving the gestures...

All I can suggest is take a few minutes and configure opera's predefined gestures in StrokeIt. Look for keystroke help and mouse gesture help in opera, and configure all tht u need in strokeit. then enable strokeit's mouse gestures in opera. Or mail me and I'll send u the opera gestures i mapped and exported(all the basic gestures)
