a sweet effect can be had by using stroke it in conjunction with a program called wizmo
http://www.grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htm
run wizmo.exe with the arguments
open=D:
and
close=D:
very nice for stealthed drives and a very impressive tool. i imagine it would not be hard to add this to the stroke it code.

if this has already been discussed, sorry to waste the space. :)

bump, i just remembered this program and wizmo. again, its a really cool thing to be able to eject your cd or dvd drive by moving your mouse. wizmo by default plays a noise. to get rid of the noise, add quiet to the argument linen/a wrote:

WTF how do I do this? I have followed the directions to a T and it still won't work for me. If someone got this to work could they clarify for me.

Never mind I figured it out. You have to make sure explorer is opening wizmo.exe and then it works! I was just being dumb. FYI for silent mode put a space between arguments eg. open=d: quiet
