Action to move windows?
September 17, 2003 08:33PM
I would like to write a global action that would allow me to move a window without having to first click on the title bar.

I see there is a Move action but it requires a specific pixel location to move to. So I'm taking the approach of invoking Move from the given window's system menu; when I do that manually, the mouse pointer snaps to the title bar and changes to the move cursor, and I only have to click and move. (would be nicer if I didn't even have to click, but I can live with that.)

So now I have to write a keystroke stream to do Alt-Space, M. I cannot figure out how to get this to work. I've looked at all the examples I can find in the supplied .cfg files, read the documentation, etc.

Can someone provide me a correct example, or perhaps even a better way to accomplish this?
