the (alt+tab) gesture working with infinite windows
August 28, 2008 05:21AM
i saw this code in other topic, but it only works with 2 windows so if you want to make it work with 3, just add an extra "[TAB]" in the text box of the action so the action will be: "[ALT_DOWN][TAB][TAB][ALT_UP]".
if you want 4 windows add another "[TAB]".

i want to hold the left button then scroll up the wheel and go to the window at the rigth of the one im using, and if i scroll down i go to the left window.
always considering the reference window the one that im doing the gesture obviusly.

is there a way to do that???

thanks for your help on the forum and please excuse my english.

this is the code i mention before:

You enter the information using the Command Editor dialogs:

(1) right-click [Global Actions] and select New Action

(2) right-click New Action, select Rename, and type "Alt-Tab [Mouse Wheel]"

(3) Find WHEEL_UP in the gesture list (the box immediately above the Add/Remove buttons -- it's a drop-down list), click Add Gesture. Repeat for WHEEL_DOWN.

(4) right-click New Action, select New Command, pick "Keys - Send Keystroke" from the list, put [ALT_DOWN][TAB][ALT_UP] in the text box.

(5) right-click New Command, select Rename, type "Alt-Tab".
To go to the one on the left use shift
i'm using "[WIN_DOWN][CTRL_DOWN][TAB][CTRL_UP][WIN_UP]" on win 7. For xp try ALT instead of WIN.
There is no WHEEL_UP or _DOWN
