What is "\ Up" means ?

hi , i saw many gestures as "\ Up" "\ Down" .... ,

but i don't know how i can perform them .

"\" means a diagonal line from the top left to the botton right (or the reverse). It is just the physical shape of the slash that you use as a gesture, i.e. a diagonal line. "Down" means you start at the top left and go down to the bottom right, "Up" is the reverse direction. "/" is a diagonal line from the top right to the bottom left (or the reverse).

Simple, \up means to draw a line from left-up corner to down-right corner
