Hi,

How can i reactivate strokeit if i dont have a sys tray.
I use winxp and my Taskbar is hiding on startup.

I know there gesture to disable it , but i need a key or a button with the right function to reenable it.

Hope someone can help :)

Interesting. I don't think there is a simple solution. Of course you could send/post a windows message to StrokeIt so that it thinks there has been a RMB on the tray icon. But since StrokeIt is disabled it cannot do that. Perhaps from Lua. Not that I know which message to send.

Or you could just restart StrokeIt, it is enabled by default after restart. You can bring forth its command window by running its .exe if it's already running.

You're welcome :)
May I suggest another command that temporarily disables StrokeIt (the next gesture is not analyzed/executed) and you can disable gesture recognition by holding down a button (CTRL by default). Maybe that suits you better than disabling StrokeIt completely.

Hello Madisson,

You could make a hotkey with command line arguments

"C:\Programme\TCB Networks\StrokeIt\strokeit.exe" -toggle

adjust program path

Thanks

For some reason the actions mouse actions are seen but the function is gone. ( trails with right mouse button) I use Mozilla Firefox. I have used this program for years and really miss it !

Thank you for any help to fix the program.

Hello Ross,

It seems to me that your strokes.bin is empty.
If it so http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/forum/read.php?2,54749,54777#msg-54777

Thanks
