Bsnes & Strokeit help if possible.Posted by mclane
Hi there trying to get Strokeit working with this emulator
http://bsnes.googlecode.com/files/bsnes_v063.zip Link is safe and fully virus checked, also it an emulator I use daily.. Initially all I want to do is assign a mouse gesture to load a cartridge, I've tried winclass, name and file name with the keyboard shortcut of Shift + L. Depending on the class I use I sometimes get an unknown 'L' error depending if the L is [L] or just L. Sadly it refused to bring up the load cartridge menu, a manual SHIFT + L works fine , just not VIA Strokeit. I have also tried a command capture with Girder via the mouse click to load carts but no joy. Is the emulator Strokeit proof.? Cheers
There is no [L].
It's either a hotkey with SHIFT+L which is New Command = keys, hotkey "[SHIFT_DOWN]l[SHIFT_UP]"in the config file or it is sending keys which is New Command = keys, keys "[SHIFT_DOWN]l[SHIFT_UP]" You could try to use some delay, e.g. New Command = keys, keys "[SHIFT_DOWN]" New Command = utilities, Delay "200" New Command = keys, keys "l" New Command = utilities, Delay "200" New Command = keys, keys "[SHIFT_UP]"I recall a few users reporting it worked for them.
I tried and it really does not seem to work. The action is triggered, OSD display the text but the application does not respond neither to hotkey nor to sent keystrokes. It looks like that this emulator does not use the standard windows way to accept keystrokes. You could try Autohotkey as an alternative.
