Sending backslash keystroke

<HTML>I'm stumped. How do I send a backslash keystroke?

I need to send a filename to Netscape, including the slashes.

If I try "e:\temp", the "\t" gets expanded into a tab character.

If I try "e:\\temp", the gesture works the first time but the string in the setup gets changed to "e:\temp" which causes the next gesture to send the tab again.

I have tried the C variants for sending the character, namely "\133" and "\x5c", to no avail.

I am using StrokeIt .9 Final

How do I include a backslash in a series of keystrokes?</HTML>

<HTML>Hi Coriolis,

This is a little buggy I think *g* but try the following:

new command:

Send keystrokes:

e:

new command:

Send hotkeys:

alt gr + ß (on my keyboard ) hit whatever \ is on your keyboard

new command:

Send keystrokes:

temp

I try this in Notepad my version is here.

http:\\strokeit0.tripod.com/gestures/stemp/notepad.zip

It works for me.

Import the file in Strokeit and be happy ....

with best regards

<HTML>This has been fixed in the latest .9.1 preview. If you're experimental, you may want to give it a shot.
