<HTML>Is there a way to create a gesture that will automatically search google on highlighted text? I saw that feature for symblol commander and think it would be a great addition to strokeit.</HTML>

<HTML>For IE:

[CTRL_DOWN]c[CTRL_UP][ALT_DOWN]d[ALT_UP]http://www.google.com/search?q=[CTRL_DOWN]v[CTRL_UP][ENTER]

That should work. I'm just guessing though. I don't use IE. ;-)

<HTML>Ok thanks guys, both of those work fine in ie, how about mozilla. Using the same logic I came up with this, but it doesn't seem to work. The open web location keystroke in mozilla is ctrl+shift+l

[CTRL_DOWN]c[CTRL_UP]
[CTRL_DOWN][SHIFT_DOWN]l[SHIFT_UP][CONTROL_UP]
http://www.google.com/search?q=[CTRL_DOWN]v[CTRL_UP][ENTER]</HTML>

<HTML>It doesn't do anything. When I do it manually it works fine. I was thinking there must be an error or something in the way I typed it...right??</HTML>

<HTML>This works with phoenix, anyway. I have my search set to google automatically, so I don't need to add that.

[CTRL_DOWN]c[CTRL_UP][CTRL_DOWN]t[CTRL_UP]
[ALT_DOWN]d[ALT_UP][CTRL_DOWN]V[CTRL_UP][ENTER]</HTML>

<HTML>Oh, and that ctrl t opens a new tab. Leave that out if you want the search in the same tab. I think you may have to set mozilla to do an automatic google search for this to work. Give phoenix a shot.</HTML>

<HTML>Here is what I used for Mozilla:

[CTRL_DOWN]c[CTRL_UP][ALT_DOWN]d[ALT_UP]
[CTRL_DOWN]v[CTRL_UP][UP][UP][ENTER]

I chose not to open in a new tab, and I included the up command to highlight "Search Google for xxx." Yes, I have [UP] included twice. Though when doing the keystrokes by hand I only have to press up once, for some reason StrokeIt won't do the first [up] command so I had to put it in twice.</HTML>

<HTML>What does the up command do? Is it the up arrow? It doesn't seem to be needed for me.</HTML>
