Re: Stroke and Vista command prompt problem - 13 years agoI tried what you suggested. The gestures are simply not being recognized. The right button give me a menu (mark, copy, paste, etc) and I don't see any blue line.by amit - General Re: Stroke and Vista command prompt problem - 13 years agoAs far as I recall, it was not admin mode. I will get back after I test at home. EDIT: Ok, I checked. It is not running in admin mode. I did both admin and 'normal' modes and no success in either. I use strokeit on Vista at home and work. Strokeit works perfectly with my command prompt at my work computer. I am able to do all gestures and get them to work as I want. However, using the same config file at my home computer, I am not able to get strokeit to work with the command prompt. The gestures do not get recognized. I have checked everything that comes tby amit - General Re: Sandboxie - 13 years agoSandboxie is indeed a great program. I just tried it out after reading about it here. When I installed it, it detected Strokeit and gave me option to integrate it, and I selected yes (interestingly, it also selected Adobe updater). It works flawlessly with strokeit. All my original gestures work as before in the sandboxed application. My old one was falling apart anyway. I still have it as a backup computer in case something goes wrong with my new one. In that case, I'll try your suggestions. Since its a laptop (with a small keyboard, it does not have a dedicated num lock). It has some (apparently useless) buttons in between the left and right. I updated to 9.3 and everything started working fine. Thanks for the information that led me to update Adobe. Incidentally, I also tried "send keystrokes" which correspond to VGV (for prev view) VGW (for next view) It does not work either. The problem is as follows: In a pdf file with hyperlinks, we can click them and jump within the document. Acrobat provides the following hotkeys to navigate thru the document: previous view: Alt + Left arrow next view: Alt + Right Arrow These work fine using the keyboard.
