W8 status? - 10 years agoSo what's the status on StrokeIt on Windows 8? Pages on this site report compatibility up to W7. In other places I read about problems with W8. Is any development being done still? StrokeIt is my #1 productivity tool and I'd be miserable without it.by HarryD - General Handling larger fonts in Win7 - 12 years agoI use Windows 7 with default font size set to Medium (125%). Consequently the StrokeIt window becomes too small to show all info. Text and buttons get clipped. What would help is to make the window resizable. That's the quick fix. The neat way would be to take default font size settings into consideration. Off topic: I believe StrokeIt and sliced bread are competing. Mwah! - 14 years agoI wish to go on record and state that StrokeIt is the single most important productivity tool I have encountered in my 25+ years as a pc user. The time I save just flicking a wrist is enormous. I hope it will be around forever, and, hopefully, as a free add-on for all.by HarryD - General Import issue importing gestures/actions - 14 years agoI have noticed the following: - StrokeIt has defaults for Google Chrome (just an example!) - I decide to override settings (delete the gesture for "Close tab" and define a new action using the "\Up" gesture). - I export this config. - I install StrokeIt (another machine, new Windows install, whatever) - I import the previously exported config. - The Google default gestuby HarryD - StrokeIt Bugs Logitech mice have more options! - 14 years agoSliced bread is great. StrokeIt is right up there! My Logitech mouse has a wheel that can click left and right besides down.
