Re: Adjust diagonal angle parameters? - 12 years agoNo, that doesn't work. It doesn't hone in on or change gesture borders, it simply recategorizes the entire gesture range.by paul1149 - Improvement Requests Re: Adjust diagonal angle parameters? - 12 years agoOk, thanks for the idea. I'll see how it works.by paul1149 - Improvement Requests Adjust diagonal angle parameters? - 12 years agoHi, Is it possible to adjust the angular tolerance StrokeIt uses to determine when a gesture is diagonal? I am getting a lot of miscues in which my Down stroke is interpreted as a diagonal. Thanks, p.by paul1149 - Improvement Requests Re: Thunderbird - 13 years agoAh, Leo, you're a genius! It hadn't occurred to me that there might be a conflict. Both Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird identified as MozillaUIBrowser, or something, and Firefox was set to open a new tab with the \Down action. I deleted that and T-bird began acting properly. Thanks much! p.by paul1149 - General Re: Thunderbird - 13 years agoHi, Definitely not getting notifications here. The sound file was an additional test, after the primary action - deleting the active mail - also didn't work. Thanks, p.by paul1149 - General Re: Thunderbird - 13 years agoHi Leo, I'm glad I checked back here, as I had not received any notifications. I just tried that, and StrokeIt readily identified my \Down gesture. Yet it still doesn't work. Thanks, p.by paul1149 - General Thunderbird - 13 years agoHi, StrokeIt is fantastic here, on Win7 x64. But I've run across one small problem. The \Down gesture does not work. I've set a small media wave to play as a test, and both Up and Down gestures work fine, but not the diagonal down gesture. Thanks, p.by paul1149 - General Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoWell, I thought I changed system font, but in Display Properties/Appearance/Advanced all I see is tahoma, sans serif, trebuchet - standard MS fare. But it's very possible I changed the font size, like maybe from 8 to 9. I have no direct control there over fonts for control buttons, but maybe another setting changes that too.by paul1149 - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoI'm not sure about system font size, but I did switch it to Verdana - from what, Tahoma? Maybe that's worth a check...by paul1149 - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoLeo - I'm on XP sp3, and I use the Zune theme. I ran the same setup on my desktop, without this problem. Yes, I use v .9.7. I see I'm also getting the UI truncation on other Command Editor views, such as the Add Action panel cuts off the two large controls, bottom right (enable and remove, I believe). I can see just enough of them that I can clip them with the mouse and activate them.by paul1149 - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoWhen I was setting up the laptop, I did have some GUI problems. I ended up doing a complete restore and installing anew (I bought the machine used), and since then I can't recall any other instance of GUI malformation. I didn't realize the Command Editor was resizable, but doing so does not affect the problem. I imagine I tripped the Deactivate button while Global Actions was selecby paul1149 - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoSorry, I see now that there is a difference here between Follow and Follow with email notifications. I should be getting them now.by paul1149 - StrokeIt Bugs Re: Command Editor UI broken - 13 years agoHi gemisigo and Leo, I didn't report it as a bug because I thought if it were I surely wouldn't be the only one experiencing it. I rather attributed it to the limits of resolution of the laptop I just started using, as I have seen some other dialog weirdness on it. In any case, here is the scenario. I open SI from the Taskbar in order to add an app (FreeCell). However, on my 15" laptop, which runs at its maximum screen resolution of 1024x768, I cannot add applications, because whatever controls are below Edit, Remove, Add are barely showing. If I Tab around I can see that something there is getting the focus, but hitting Enter or Space, or trying to click it with the mouse, does nothing. Is there any way to specify an application as enumerated (that is, non-global) actions only? For instance, I would like to use StrokeIt with Opera for diagonal gestures, but would like to retain Opera's powerful indigenous gestures for more basic movements. From what I see, currently it's either an all or nothing approach - either I use Strokeby paul1149 - General |
