Re: Help test upcoming release! - 15 years agoStrokeIt_0.9.6-preview-140509.exe When I do a Strokeit uninstall and then reinstall to test the latest version, mhook.dll is deleted but not added back. The last two installers do not contain a mhook.dll file, I have a backup copy from 07/05/09. I always do a reboot after the install. I am very hapy to say that Strokeit now works in Vista32 with both UAC and IE Protected Mode on. All the previous versions of Strokeit including the standalone executable dated 23/04/09, have all performed well for me (except for the IE/UAC problem). I said then (and agree with you), that my preference was to turn off UAC and keep IE Protected mode on, because the malware danger was from the Internet and not on my computer, as I have an antivirus, Windows Defender, Postinby trafanad - Improvement Requests Internet Explorer in Strokeit (Vista 32) - 15 years agoHowdy: (edited dgt) I have used Strokeit for a long time, and also on Vista 32 for the last 2 years. Strokeit has worked well for me, but on Vista I have to disable UAC (User Account Control) to be able to use Strokeit with Internet Explorer 7/8.
