Selecting / Highlighting Text

I originally posted to the wrong forum, so I apologize for posting the same thing twice...

Good-afternoon,

I'm trying to select some text automatically using a StrokeIt command.

The scenario I'm trying to implement is the following:
I have some text in notepad.
I click somewhere on a line.
I hit the 'Home' key to move the cursor at the beginning of the line.
Then hold down the 'Shift' key and hit the 'End' key to select the entire line.
Then hit the 'Backspace' key to delete it.
Can this scenario be accomplished in Stroke It?

I've tried some different methods, however, it never seems to select/highlight any text.

Setup a new command with 'Keys - Send Keystoke' and use this:

[home][shift_down][end][shift_up][delete]

Hope that works.

p.s. throw an extra '[delete]' on the end and it will get rid of the line break as well.

p.p.s replace 'delete' with 'back' if you want to use backspace proper, but either should accomplish your request

nope that doesn't work.
Any other ideas??
