'C'lose problems with IE
September 30, 2004 12:40AM
Increasingly often I've got problems with not being able to close Internet Explorer windows with the default 'C' close action, which - according to the configuration - simulates ALT-F4.

Often it doesn't close the window but puts the focus in some searchformfield (like http://www.php.net) which is not what I want. Just a few minutes ago it even sended an unfinished post to a board, which I originally wanted to abort.

I just changed Keyboard-Shortcut / Alt-F4 to Window.PostMsg / WM_Close and it seems to work. Haven't tested too much yet, but don't expect any more trouble.

Just FYI if any one of you had the same problem like me :)
