Autosave images
June 03, 2004 03:09PM
Hi

Don't know if anyone is familiar with the autosave feature in Greenbrowser,
but you can drag a web image, and autosave it to a set folder, and it also auto-increments file names on name collision.

I'm wondering if there's any way to do this with Strokeit.
Oroumov.

Well, I don't think it is quite possible.
This would require identifying on the webpage one picture specifically among, potentially, many others, at least by grabbing its name I guess. Which basically requires a right click on it, "save as", and you can't issue mouse clicks with S*It.

Another solution could be a kind of Copy/Paste method, but there's no way you can copy an image that is displayed in the webpage just by selecting it and pressing Ctrl-C, you would have to right-click -> copy it. And again, no right click.

So personnally.... I don't think you can.

Sorry,
I think I need to clarify what I meant,,,

It would be for saving single images loaded in a seperate window, not images embedded in the page.

I configured a gesture to autosave the single image, but I don't know if there's any way to select a folder to save to, or if it's possible to auto-increment the file name.

Here's how I configured the gesture to auto save:

class=OpWindow
Save2 {
gesture = \ Up
New Command = keys, hotkey [CTRL_DOWN]S[CTRL_UP]
New Command = win, activate "OpWindow" "Save As" "" "100"
New Command = keys, keys [RETURN]
}

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
