monitor switch box

I have a 2-port belkin monitor switch box. to switch computers the key commands are scroll-lock twice then either a 1 or a 2 which indicates the computer.
I want to use strokeIT to switch between machines, but when i try [scroll_down][scroll_up][scroll_down][scroll_up]2 it doesn't work.

i have tried various other things: insert delays or having several commands for each keypress and nothing has worked.

I doubt you'll ever get it to work. I would bet that the KVM switch intercepts the keyboard scancode sent from the keyboard itself before it even reaches the computer.
