Refresh single frame in ie
December 24, 2003 05:05AM
Hello here!

A little contribution: In internet pages with multiple frames, the standard refresh gesture reloads the whole page, which could be in many cases futile. So I remade my refresh action as:
SHIFT + F10 (=rightclick in current item/frame)
5x UP
ENTER
(Some ie-context menus might vary, so check where your refresh item really is)
Click the frame you want to refresh and then gesture.

Greetings, Gilbert.

Usually, the refresh command is Refresh.
So, no need to bother sending five UP keystrokes.
One R is enough,
And no need to send ENTER either.

Shift+F10
R

That's all.

oops, you're right. I have disabled the underlining for Alt-<char> and didn't see it /thought of it, also because I have always rather used rightclicks-context menus than hotkeys. Either mouse OR keyboard, and with StrokeIt it's now almost perfectly (mouse) Trackball only :) Thx for that reminder!

Gilbert,

I am glad that i can share my exp with you ^_^

About the topic:
Even so, i feel it uncomfortable that a menu is dropping down
when we perform that guesture. If someone can dig out a
way without seeing such context menu things, it would be much
better!
