query app B from within app A

Hi,

first, I'd like to say Thank you for StrokeIt, one of the best inventions since bread came sliced.

I would like to accomplish the following:

After I highlighed a word or phrase in app A, I'd like to have an action that does the following the sequence:

1. sends the word or phrase to the clipboard,
2. brings the focus to another application, app B,
3. presses the key F3 within app B
4. pastes the content of the clipboard
5. hits the Return key.

I can't figure out how the program step 2.
