Infrared

There are a number of cheap and easy to get IR devices. The problem is the software for them suck. I want to control my computer via an IR device. Is there anyway to get the plugins to feed the IR interface into the frontend of Stroke It? There's a number of fantastic actions, commands, and interfaces as to which program the commands work with. The only thing it needs is to detect different IR signals to pretty well open up anything on my computer to run as such.

Is this possible?
