My assumption here is that the user is using the left mouse button as the gesture button, which means when s/he tries to move a scrollbar, gestures trigger.

in quickmacros i can trigger mouse events on scrollbars,
it even has a filter for horizontal and vertical scrollbar,
but it doesn't work for firefox and thunderbird scrollbars.

i think such strokeit identifier will face similar limitations.
why don't you use right mouse for gestures ?

don't get me wrong, i like your idea :)

I have my stylus set to right click on hover and right clicking to do the gestures is not only less efficient, but has less accuracy. Like I have to make sure to click the button when the tip is on the screen instead of not having to worry about it via using the tip alone.
