additional text only plugin

Hi Jeff, Scott and all developer,

It would be nice to have an additional text only plugin where you insert your text and it is immediately  inserted, like copy and paste.

advantages:
1. no additional escape commands
2. no time delay when you wait till "the keystroke is over"

with best regards

Leo

I'm not quite sure that I see what you're asking for, Leo. Could you elaborate a little more?

Hi Scott,

Ok what I want is that my text immediately appear when I execute the gesture. For example when you want to let type StrokeIt a longer text.
StrokeIt do a single keystroke for each letter. That's ok for short text but not for long text in my opinion.

with best regards

O.k. I see what you're saying, I think.

So, you want sort of a Clipboard plugin, that allows you to define a piece of text to be pasted into wherever you happen to be drawing the gesture, correct?

I don't really see it being necessary, as you can use the Keystroke plugin for that. Perhaps the keystroke plugin could be modified to have a configurable delay when sending keystrokes?
