"Escape" from learning mode
February 18, 2002 09:42AM
<HTML>Hello

I usually use StrokeIt with the "Always prompt to learn
unrecognized commands." preference set on. (I find it useful,
so that I'm informed when my gesture don't have any action
that it's because StrokeIt didn't recognize it). However, I don't
always want StrokeIt to learn this gesture.

Consequently, I happen to exit quite often this dialog box (and
yet, I still leave this option on :-) ). What I'd love to have is the
ability to exit this dialog box by pounding heavily on the "Esc" key
on my keyboard (OK, maybe not "heavily", so I do not destroy my
keyboard). Hence, the learning dialog box would have the same
behaviour as any dialog box offering a Cancel button.

Thanks for StrokeIt, it's a wonderful piece of software. I've been
using it for two days, and I already wonder how I could work
without it before :-)
