Run program - and keep focus ON that program?

I'm trying to create a gesture that runs a program, then sends some text to THAT program. I can't see a way to do this with StrokeIt.

I can't use the WindowActivate command because there will be several windows open at the same time that have the same name.

Is there any way to Run a program and KEEP the focus on the new program?

I dont think so, you should use the activate window command, but it does not work properly.
You could try using hot key "alt + tab" but it will just work sometimes, not always...
