Strokes not working in Acrobat Reader (AcroRd32.exe)

Title says it all really - I've been using StrokeIt for a while on different machines, but at some point relatively recently after an Acrobat Reader version update, I can't use strokes in that application at all - it looks as though it's captuing the right mouse click that I'm using the draw strokes with before StrokeIt can see them.

Using Pro 9.7 if that makes a difference.

Any solutions or hints?

Problem is old and is security related.
