why do i need osd

can anybody just explain me why do i need the osd?
what are the possible uses of it?
can i "connect" it to a text file or alter its contents dinamically?

Well, since the new version can display clipboard information, you can use it for that. It's also useful for things like confirming when a stroke actually does something, if you have the Always Learn feature unselected.

*shrug* That's why it's a plugin. If you don't like it, don't use it. :)
