I'm running a program called ActiveWords, but for some reason it is interfering w/SI. When AW is running, SI cannot sent any keystrokes, aside from a few Ctrl+____ key combinations. How can I make SI send the keystrokes directly to Windows so that AW does not "steal" the keystrokes?

I'm having the same problem with Stroke-it and Activewords.

My symptoms are a little different. So far I'm Ok using SI in about everything except Outlook, but I haven't tried SI in many apps yet. Disappointing as I use AW and Outlook a lot. Since there have been no replies I take it there is no resolution to the problem.

...Or that no one here, myself included, has ever heard of ActiveWords...

I took a quick look at its homepage and I can easily imagine it would interfere with the flow of keystroke-oriented Windows messages between processes. I think your best bet would be to find a way to temporarily disable and re-enable it (would be ideal if you could just send Windows messages to it) and bracket your StrokeIt Keys commands with such. I think the ActiveWords Technical Support forum should be your next stop.
