Set Hotkey " [ " inviable

Use "[LBRACKET]" for "[" and "[RBRACKET]" for "]". Alternatively you can use "\\[" or "\\]" too (without the quotation marks, of course).

I understand. There are still some problems with the Send Hotkeys plugin, I can type in "[" into the editbox but it vanishes. Is your problem the same?

You could use Send Keystrokes instead until it's solved.

The easiest way to send mousebutton clicks is to click the corresponding button. Or to switch to enhanced version, it has a Mouse plugin which is capable of sending Click and Move commands.

Yes, that's another solution if you don't mind using two applications instead of one. The enhanced version can be downloaded from its own site, after donating/buying a license for it. It is not free.
