Editor crashes when defining certain keystrokes
July 31, 2009 09:45AM
I swear I'm not making this up. All of a sudden if I enter doubly-modified keystrokes into the hotkey action, such as WIN + SHIFT + ... or ALT + CTRL + ..., the correct text appears in the dialog, but as soon as I close the editor or select another item, StrokeIt crashes.

Confirmed - even viewing such hotkey actions (which I'd defined in earlier versions of StrokeIt) causes this crash on my 64-bit Vista box. It seems fine on my 32-bit XP machine though. You didn't specify if you're using the normal or enhanced version of StrokeIt, but in my case it's enhanced. I would reckon this probably doesn't matter though as it's most likely a bug in the keys plugin, which is probably the same in both versions. ;)

@jeff,

I already uploaded a crash dump from this for you to the usual spot. :) ( http://www.pobox.com/~googer/tcb.zip )
