"Ignore Gestures" doesn't call next hook?
November 14, 2003 01:10PM
I have a mouse-hooking application I would like to give Alt-MB3 to. I have StrokeIt set to use MB3 to draw gestures, and to use Alt to ignore gestures. I would thus expect Alt-MB3 to get through to my other app, but it doesn't.

Are you certain that your other app is catching the message properly? Does it work with strokeit not running?

Yes, in fact if I start it after I start StrokeIt it gets the message.

Okay, I agree that this is a valid bug, or at least bad behavior on StrokeIt's part. I don't know when I'll have time to code a fix, but I'll get it fixed eventually :)

Stop the presses! I can't reproduce this. I set up to test it methodically and I can't make it happen again.

You would probably have looked in your code and said "but I do call CallNextHookEx!" ;-)

Thanks for your reply and sorry to cause a ruckus ;-)
