Ability to paste prewritten text...

Any chance StrokeIt can have the ability to paste prewritten text instead of having to type out each letter in "send keystrokes"? Thanks.

I don't know if this is any help or not, but I do something similar in Works: if I want to find the next occurrence of particular text I select that text and then I've got a gesture that opens the 'Find' dialog and pastes it there etc.

The content of that 'send keystrokes' window is:

[ctrl_down]c[down]fv[ctrl_up][tab]fy[tab][tab][tab][return]

You could modify this so it copies your selected text and then pastes it.

I mean to have StrokeIt store it's own prewritten text to paste, without typing it.

StrokeIt is coolest!
I love it so mad.
hope StrokeIt will be perfect.
I suggest to add a new function into it, like Allen's.
that is "send strings into clipboard".
it means I can send Chinese strings into clipboard and then use "Ctrl+V" to paste into a chat program.
paste is faster then it to "send keys" to spell Chinese characters.
that's all.
I hope my limited English is easily for you to understand.
thx!
