Would it be possible to add particle effects to the line?

<HTML>In a recent game that just came out called Arx Fatalis, he magic system incorporates a gesture system to cast spells. It does so with a very cool particle effect that changes colors every time you go into and out of spell casting mode. Maby as extra "nuance" a similar effect could be incorporated into strokeit?
