middle-click for double-click

I would simply like to be able to assign the middle button to sending a double click in Windows Explorer.

I used to have this on an old Amiga mouse gestures plugin and I'm starting to miss it again now I have to do so many double clicks all day :)

What kind of mouse is it? I can make that assignment in my mouse setup - MS Intellipoint.
