StrokeIt

"Aero Peek" acts as on/off toggle for StrokeIt commands on Desktop

Posted by Ibrahim Jadoon
1. I can't seem to access the Bug Tracker (it just redirects to the StrokeIt homepage).
2. I am running Windows 8 Consumer Preview x64.
3. I am running StrokeIt .9.7

have a few commands mapped to the desktop (including WIN+C, which brings up the Windows 8 Charms bar).

When I turn on my computer, executing the mouse gestures on my desktop does nothing (it just brings up the right-click context menu on the desktop).

If I open a window, use Aero Peek (by hovering on the bottom-right corner), it will turn on StrokeIt commands for the desktop. If I use Aero Peek again, it will turn off StrokeIt commands for the desktop.

Clicking the bottom-right corner (thus "Show Desktop") does not exhibit this toggle behavior.

All other commands within programs work regardless of the "toggle status" of Aero Peek.

YMMV with Windows 8 of course.
My guess is Jeff will look at supporting it when it is out of beta (I mean "preview" :)
Right.

No worries.

Now it seems to be more of a "Show Desktop" thing.
