Send KeyStrokes [ doesn't work

Select the command as "Keys - Send Keystrokes", and type "[" in the text box (without the quotes). StrokeIt won't send the left square bracket key.

That is because the square brackets have a special function for telling StrokeIt to simulate buttons:

[enter]bla[space]bla

gives a new line, then bla, then a space, then bla. In order to type a bracket you need to enter \\[ I think. See this list:
