Problem with Visual Studio 2003/7.1
October 24, 2003 06:01AM
Hi!

Nice tool, but I found a problem!

The gesture "right-left-right" is globally assigned to "ALT + F4" to close the current window. This works fine for most apps.

But now I configured the same gesture for Visual Studio to send "CTRL - F4" instead of "Alt + F4" to close the active code window instead of the whole application.

But: This doesn't seem to work! If I do "right - left - right" the complete visual studio closes.

If I delete the global gesture, closing the inner window in VS works fine!

Where is my mistake?

I use the actual german version of StrokeIt!

Have you added the application into the StrokeIt command lists?
Sometimes I just forgot to add the application identifier or assign a
guesture to a command.

How do you add it? By Windows Classes, Window Title, or ExeName?
Sometimes StrokeIt fails to identify an MDI window by WindowClasses or
Executable File Name.
