Dysfunction

Well, the problem may actually lie with the user rather than the software, but anyways:

I do not get StrokeIt to perform any gestures at all - neither pre-configured stuff nor anything I dream up.

I have MyIE on my system - which uses mouse gestures, and they work as advertised.

Any suggestions?

Hi Joerg Wenck,

I don't know what is going wrong....
But perhaps MyIE blocks StrokeIt. No problems on my system.
Do you set the draw button to middle mouse ? Does this help ?
(StrokeIt - Command Editor -> Edit -> Preferences -> General)

When you want to test if StrokeIt works.

1. Save your configuration from MyIE and deinstall it.
2. Save your configuration from StrokeIt
3. Deinstall StrokeIt.
4. Delete your StrokeIt folder.
5. Reboot.!!
6. Install StrokeIt again.

If this not help then I don't know ..........

with best regards

Leo

Make sure that you're not getting an error when strokeit loads. This sounds like a typical case of mhook.dll missing from the strokeit installation, and a simple uninstall / reinstall should fix that.

De-/Re-Install did not work.

Not repeatable on my second machine.

Will leave it at that.

Browse also with myIE2 (0.7.829) and no problems at all with strokeit (you have to add all gestures of MyIE2 to stroketi (and other shortcuts or hotkeys this browser has), that way you don't have to disable strokeit to have MyIE2 gestures working.

By the way I'm using Win XP pro.
