I see a displacement of the "colored line" when I draw a gesture on my second monitor, which I attribute to the different resolution. I don't see app-specific behaviors such as you describe though.

Just guessing but try unchecking "match as pattern" Also is that window class correct? The two conditions are and-ed you know. Try removing that.

(1) In the Command Editor right-click an application and select New Action. I used Global Actions. Select the desired gesture from the dropdown and click Add Gesture. (2) Right-click the New Action and select New Command. Select Keys - Send Keystrokes and copy the given keystroke sequence into the edit box. (3) Rename New Action and New Command to something meaningful. See image in attach

Yes, I misspoke, I meant add a new command to the existing action and the commands would be executed in sequence. But you're saying that didn't work?

Yes, add a Windows - Activate Window action before the Keys - Hotkey action. The actions will be executed in sequence.

I know what the problem is. You have to run StrokeIt with administrator privs to act on windows which also run at that level.

Put a shortcut to strokeit.exe in Programs\Startup. Right-click the shortcut, go to Properties, drop down Run: and select Minimized.

Your setup looks correct. I tried adding MBUTTON_UP to my Back action and it worked for me. I've not tried using middle-button as a gesture but I have alt-left assigned to the gesture "left" using keys-hotkey.

Well, I find my experience to be near perfect, I'm not aware of any bugs and I don't have to use any workarounds. I am on Windows 10 of a Surface Pro 3 tablet.

Get a utility that has a shutdown command, like Sysinternals Process Explorer. Figure out the keystrokes to execute what you want, e.g. alt-f-h-s-y to shutdown. Set up a gesture with the keys - send keystrokes command and put the sequence in (FHSY I think).

Turns out not to be as bad as I thought. No crash when the editor window is on my primary monitor, only when it's on one of the two secondaries. I notice it also doesn't remember its position if I don't close it on the primary. I have an irregular monitor setup, StrokeIt isn't the only program to complain ;)

Any right-click on a list item in the Editor window causes StrokeIt to become unresponsive, and shortly brings up the "stopped working" dialog. Clicking empty space in the dialog still works, bringing up the "new..." popup. Ctrl+right-click does the same, and changing preferences to another mouse button (middle) makes no difference. Should be no problem, files are in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\StrokeIt, in Actions unless you've also saved custom gestures. Reinstall StrokeIt and overwrite Documents\StrokeIt with the folder from your backup and you should be all set.
