Strokeit sometimes doesn't work

on Windows 7 Strokeit wasn't working on some software. they were all softwares od the same type (revouninstaller,disk/registry cleaner). Now on Windows 10 it doesn't work also on the client of League of Legends that always worked on Windows 7
These are only examples,i bet there are more windows that can't be closed or mininimized.
Is there a specific reason and is there a way to make strokeit work with every window/software?

I know what the problem is. You have to run StrokeIt with administrator privs to act on windows which also run at that level.

Thanks for your answer i tried to reinstall StrokeIt and this time i chose "install for all users (requires admin password)".
Now it works great. i don't know if that is the reason but i don't want to find out uninstalling a reinstalling choosin "for current user only"

Maybe that option make Strokeit works as admin since it's installed also for admin user.
Or maybe it's just something else but now it's working :)

It's a pity that strokeit is dead. I have been using it only for the last 2 years and now i couldn't do without it.

i have to update
run as admin makes strokeit always work but it won't open when windows starts
that's a big problem

I run strokeit.exe at logon with a Scheduled Task, set to "Run with the highest privileges"

Can you explain me how to do it? i know how to add and remove autostart when windows starts but not the priority

Run task scheduler (e.g. type "taskschd.msc" at command prompt)
Action | Create Task
General: fill in a name and check "Run with highest privileges"
Triggers: click New... and in the New Trigger window select "At log on"
Actions: click New... and in the New Action window fill in "Program/script" with the full path to strokeit.exe
OK

... that's it ...
